Supporting charities Pret Style
¡@

Throughout the year, Pret has been supporting numerous charities helping the homeless and the underprivileged in Hong Kong (including Salvation Army, Ark Association, Street Sleepers Association, etc.) by offering our unsold sandwiches to them at the end of each day. We display donation boxes in all our shops to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and help to raise public awareness their organisation. Each Christmas, we have a Charity Campaign with Make-A-Wish Foundation. For every Christmas Sandwich sold, Pret A Manger will donate HK$1 to them. We also donate products to their "Share the joy of a wish" campaign for their fundraising event.

We prefer to work on long-term arrangements with charity organisations to ensure that as much food gets to the homeless as possible. Tragically a few of our shops have no regular charities able to collect from them.  If you are a registered charity and are interested in collecting our unsold sandwiches on a long-term basis, please contact Ms Audrey Lee at audrey.lee@pret.com and we will get back to you soon.

The Pret Foundation Trust - UK

¡@
Julian Metcalfe and Sinclair Beecham (the founders of Pret A Manger) set up The Pret Foundation Trust in the UK in 1995. The Trust is funded by money that we donate from the sales of some of our products, and customer donations through collection boxes in shops. This primarily supports the Pret Charity Run, a fleet of electric vans, which collect and distribute our leftover food at the end of every day to charities for the homeless across London. In total, we donate nearly 2 million meals to charities for the homeless across the UK every year.
